GDPR Compliance Statement

Accountability: We adhere to the GDPR’s standards by incorporating the concept of “data privacy by design” into our business strategy. We maintain accountability by implementing detailed rules and methods, as well as appointing a Data Protection Officer to oversee our overall compliance with data protection regulations, including the administration of access rights requests. Our rules are reviewed and updated on a regular basis, and our employees are updated regarding data protection and security on a yearly basis.

Transparency, Fairness, and Lawfulness: We process data with the interests of data subjects in mind, and we ensure that processing activities are conducted in a transparent manner to ensure fairness. This ensures that we are processing data in accordance with the law. We’ve put in place a solid procedure for dealing with any access requests that come our way.

Data Minimisation and Storage: We will not keep data for longer than is necessary, and we will only keep data if there is a legal basis for doing so. When we need to get rid of data, we do it following industry-accepted standards to ensure that the destruction or anonymization is completely legal.

Data Accuracy: We place a premium on data accuracy, and we train our employees to guarantee that data is maintained to a high standard and with all relevant details.

Limitation of Purpose: We only utilise the data we collect for a specified purpose. This means that data is not handled for purposes other than those for which it was originally gathered.

Data Retention: All data is kept in accordance with our retention policy. We are dedicated to taking a realistic approach to the ownership, retention, and disposal of information relevant to our business activities in the UK and Ireland, in accordance with legal, contractual, and commercial requirements. We usually maintain client information for 7 years, or until the contract expires.

Data Disposal: We have made a conscious effort as a company to become more digitally focused, and we avoid using paper records whenever possible. Each floor has confidential waste containers for confidential paper waste, which is safely shredded by a vetted third party who provides a certificate of destruction upon completion. We have a hardware disposal policy in place that ensures all hardware is commercially wiped before being destroyed by an authorised third party who also issues a certificate of destruction.
